Today was a layover day as we moved from just west of Nashville to just east of Nashville. We were not enamored with our Montgomery Bell SP camp site and thought it just made sense as we visited Nashville to continue moving forward. So, here we are in a parking-lot style KOA with a great wifi connection (at last).
As we began planning out our next few days — a visit to Great Smoky Mountains NP, we discovered it would be snowing our whole time in the park. And, most of the campgrounds and roads are closed in the park at the moment. SO, we have placed this NP on our “in-the-future” list. We’re heading to what looks like a cozy state park in the eastern most part of Tennessee. After that, our first ancestry visit – with Georgia Craig Norton. Looking so forward to it!
